Binghamton, NY— In a virtual press conference, Congressman Marc Molinaro, Broome County Sheriff Fred Akshar, Greene County Sheriff Pete Kusminsky, and Sullivan County Sheriff Mike Schiff today slammed DC Insider Josh Riley for opening the border to murderers and rapists.
The press conference comes after Upstate New Yorkers woke up to another tragedy in which an illegal immigrant brutally murdered a family of four and follows similar incidents in New York's 19th Congressional District. In the past year, illegal immigrants living in New York have raped a young girl in the Capital Region, raped a woman in the Catskills, and murdered a woman in Central New York. Most recently, a Peruvian serial killer who crossed the border illegally was captured in the Southern Tier.
Congressman Molinaro said, “The monster that killed this family should have never been here, but Josh Riley let him in. Just like he let in a rapist in the Capital Region, another rapist in the Catskills, a murderer in Central New York, and even a Peruvian serial killer in the Southern Tier. Now, Upstate New York is facing a violent crime wave. Imagine the chaos Riley would create in Congress.”
