Molinaro Momentum Building

Red Hook, NY - Today, following the news of a special election for NY-19, Dutchess County Executive Marc Molinaro reaffirmed his commitment to serving the people of upstate New York. Molinaro’s new opponent was hand selected in secret by Democratic Party bosses following Governor Kathy Hochul naming Congressman Antonio Delgado as her Lieutenant Governor. Molinaro said, “Upstate New York needs a proven leader with a track record of working to find common ground and real solutions. I’ve spent my entire adult life making government work for the people it’s supposed to serve. As I’ve traveled across the Hudson Valley, the Catskills, the Capitol Region, the Southern Tier, I’ve continued to earn the trust of individuals by listening and learning.” Since announcing his candidacy for Congress, County Executive Marc Molinaro has built an army of hundreds of volunteers, traveled thousands of miles, attended hundreds of events, and quickly eclipsed the $1,000,000 fundraising mark faster than any candidate in district history. Speaking directly to voters, Molinaro concluded, “I work everyday to be a good steward of my neighbors tax dollars and trust by investing in services and programs that will make life better for all. I’ve done it in the Hudson Valley. I’ve done it in Albany. I will do it again in Washington. The district lines may change. My opponent may change. But, what won’t change is why I’m running: For us. For you.
