Molinaro Endorsed By Hudson Valley Electricians Union

Binghamton, NY -- The International Brotherhood of Electrical Workers (IBEW) Local 363 in the Hudson Valley has endorsed Congressman Marc Molinaro for reelection in New York's 19th Congressional District.

Congressman Molinaro is building significant support from the labor community, with recent endorsements from high-profile unions like the International Brotherhood of Electrical Workers (IBEW) Local 325 in Binghamton, Laborers' International Union of North America (LIUNA-NY), and Binghamton-Oneonta Building Trades Council.

Sam Fratto, Business Manager for IBEW Local 363 said, "Our organization evaluates candidates for office based on their accessibility, track record, and positions on subjects regarding the hard working middle class people in the state of New York. With that said, we are happy to give Marc our full support for reelection. He has a proven track record and the experience to represent all people in the Hudson Valley in a way that many others cannot do. We appreciate what Marc does for us, and we very strongly support him in the next election coming up in November of 2024."

Congressman Marc Molinaro said, "I am deeply honored to receive the endorsement of IBEW Local 363. Their support, alongside the backing of other esteemed labor unions, reaffirms our commitment to championing the interests of hardworking men and women. I am grateful for the trust placed in me by IBEW Local 363, and I pledge to continue fighting tirelessly for fair wages, job security, and the well-being of working-class families."

According to the NY Post, Congressman Molinaro is a 'favorite' among some of the biggest unions in New York State. In Congress, he has supported the Tax Fairness for Workers Act, which delivers a tax deduction for union dues and expenses, supported the National Apprenticeship Act to create nearly one million new apprenticeship openings, and voted against legislation that would have undermined Davis-Bacon and Project Labor Agreements.

Congressman Molinaro was elected in November 2022 to represent New York’s 19th Congressional District. The new district includes Broome, Chenango, Columbia, Delaware, Greene, Otsego, Sullivan, and Tompkins counties as well as part of Cortland, Rensselaer, and Ulster counties.
