Molinaro Aims to Provide Relief to Families in Dutchess County

Red Hook, NY - Today, Dutchess County Executive Marc Molinaro announced a partnership with Community Action setting up a baby formula donation drive to help provide immediate relief to the families with infants throughout Dutchess County.

Marc Molinaro said, “A child’s development in these early years is vital to their long term potential and we as neighbors have a chance to come together to assist families in fear. The national shortage of baby formula will affect the most vulnerable members of our community; those families who might be on a budget and can’t afford to stock up on long term supplies of formula. I know Dutchess County residents will take action and come together to help their neighbors in need.”

Beginning today, residents can help their neighbors by dropping off sealed, unexpired baby formula at four locations in Dutchess County:

Poughkeepsie 77 Cannon Street Monday through Friday, 1-4:30 p.m.

Beacon 10 Eliza Street Monday through Friday, 1-4:30 p.m.

Dover 3414 Route 22 Monday through Friday, 1-4:30 p.m.

Red Hook 44 East Market St. Monday, Wednesday and Friday, 1-4:30 p.m.

Molinaro concluded, “Raising children takes a village, and our communities here in Dutchess County understand that shared responsibility.”
